New Planetside 2 video details new engine, factions, shows gameplay

Josh Hackney is staring at me.

So far it looks pretty interesting though. If they can mix production values with the intelligence of the original, it’s gonna make Battlefield look like child’s play (again).

As an aside, Josh Hackney looks like one intense dude.

@2 It’s always going to be hit and miss online I reckon. If it becomes popular it’ll probably suffer a bit.

I guess that’s one of the ironies of the original, it never really became big enough to be worth spoiling.

Hopefully they’ll keep the clan system. I think that goes a long way to make people serious about playing, all the way to seeing your emblem on the vehicles etc.
