Resistance 3 Brutality DLC drops this week
A new DLC pack is on the way for Resistance 3, bringing with it a Grim onslaught. Vindication!
Brutality is expected on the PlayStation Network with this week’s update, which usually hits on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday depending on your territory.
The pack, which was teased last week, brings a new gameplay mode, a new weapon – and music by Metal band Mastodon, five tracks from The Hunter and two instrumentals from Blood Mountain.
The new mode is set in Wales – a nastier version than the standard map – and has players fighting off Hordes of Grims. See what I did there?

Two corrections. The store updates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays not Wednesday and Thursdays. Also the Sledgehammer isn’t new, its already in the game.

Here in Australia, the PSN updates on Thursdays, but I’ve added Tuesdays for our American brethren. I’ve also removed the reference to the Sledgehammer – must have been an error in the original report, I guess. Bit odd.

Oh didn’t know Australia updated on a thursday. Yeah it is weird since there’s a whole mission based on using the Sledgehammer in an arena.

Hoard mode (which is what this is) should have been in the game from the start. Jeesh, R3′s MP has to be one of the laziest in terms of content i’ve seen this gen. Insomniac were clearly just phoning this one in.

let me guess mastadon is a sony band or something? so tacky. i dont think this couldve been insomniacs idea. it looks ok,. but i hope there will be a mute music option.
