Command & Conquer Alliances outed by domain

EA has made a number of domain registrations for an unrevealed title, Command & Conquer Alliances. Oh, hello VGAs, are you pertinent to this discussion?

First spotted by Fusible, the list of 15 domain names are all Command & Conquer related.

The Whois records reveal all were made by Corporate Domains on December 2, but list EA in two contact fields.

The domain registrations fall suspiciously close to this week's VGAs on December 10, at which EA BioWare is set to reveal a new game with a distinctly warlike aesthetic. Victory Games, a new studio established to develop for the Command & Conquer series, is rumoured to be attached to the EA BioWare label.

The Command & Conquer series has spawned six core games plus eight expansions and spin-offs since inception in 1995, and is considered one of the most influential and important RTS franchises. Its alternate history setting, bombastic characters, and cheesy cinematics have earned it a cult following as much as its solid gameplay.
