First Vita commercial tease looks traditionally bonkers

The PlayStation brand’s reputation for off-the-wall advertising looks set to be reinforced by the first trailer out of Japan.

Sony Japan has kicked off its Vita promotional activities with the teaser below; the tag line at the end says “The future of games is changing”. Watch closely and you’ll see some weird things happening in the live-action tease.

The Vita hits Japan in December so stay tuned over the next few weeks as this campaign winds into gear, hopefully with some suitably insane TV spots.

Thanks, Andriasang.

ahhh japan, bless ‘em, They do go out of there way to be completely different, have to admire that in a world where every country is just trying to be america.

Anyway, are any of ye importing a vita? should we expect coverage from vg247 when it comes out in japan?

My guess is he cycles to a landing, dome-shaped, space craft where ET starts lobbing Vitas out to the kidz.

I dont believe for a minute that the ps4 is out next year, we still dont have agent, last guardian, twisted metal etc.. and plus, i am sure sony wouldn’t want to overshadow the first christmas for vita..
