Netherrealm Studios teasing “unexpected surprise”
Netherrealm boss and Mortal Kombat creator Ed Boon is teasing an imminent reveal.
“Unexpected surprise from NetherRealm Studios coming…….?” he tweeted.
In response to queries, Boon said the surprise is not related to the latest Mortal Kombat game – and isn’t Grid 2, a flyball suggestion.
Thanks, GoNintendo.

I hope they buy the rights to Killer Instinct and release KI3. Then make Mortal Kombat vs Killer Instinct

I hope it’s a better surprise than the PC version of MK Arcade Kollection being imaginary.

They bought the rights to Blood Storm and then realized, “Wait a minute, that was a shitty game. What have we done?!?”

Pinball Kombat!? MK: Vitality? Bring it on! Just please make any future release the way you did with MK9 and no the crappy rushed MK Kollection package.

“Super Mortal Kombat 9 Turbo Limited Special Edition? Noobde: With all the DLC + a few new characters?!?!? No.
”
Love it. While they have released their own extended game before (UMK3), it’s good to see a fighting game studio that doesn’t super milk their good games like Capcom or release half assed games only to release the proper version less than a year later calling it Ultimate MvC3.
