Rumour – Pokémon Gray announcement soon
A legitimate-looking domain registration has re-opened speculation of a new version of Pokémon Black & White – Pokémon Gray.
Pokemon Buzz reports pokemongray.com has been registered by Melbourne IT DBS – the company Nintendo used to secure the official Pokémon Black & White website’s domain.
“Pokémon Gray” is the title fans have hypothesised for an expected re-release of the Black & White generation games, in the same way that Yellow usurped Red and Blue; Crystal replaced Silver and Gold; and Emerald followed Ruby and Sapphire.
Developer Gamefreak had previously said it had no plans for a “grey” edition.
Food for thought: Nintendo has planned a 3DS conference event for Friday. There is no core Pokémon game for 3DS yet.

It’s almost an inevitability that this is going to come out, even if Black and White did come towards the end of the DS’ life cycle. I’d actually consider getting it if it was a 3DS title, and it actually added something substantive.
