Toy Story writers in talks to pen FarmVille movie
Yes. You read that title correctly. Speaking in an interview with IGN, regarding their work on Skylanders Spyro’s Adventures, Toy Story writers Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen said they are currently in talks to write a film based on Zynga’s FarmVille. However, the duo never came right out and said it, but the hint is as big as the sky: “So, yes, we will continue writing movies. We are also working on several new and very exciting opportunities. We’re in conversations with Zynga to do something with one of their brands. Can’t really say too much on that front yet, but ‘Old MacDonald’ didn’t have a factory, if you get our drift.” The project has yet to be announced formally, and Zynga refused comment on the matter.

The longest, most pointless, depressing and soul-crushingly tedious movie ever created…

@4 Well it does have Tom Arnold in it. What did you expect? Last and only good thing he did was True Lies

Both Alec and Joel wrote Cheaper by the Dozen and the Garfield movies. Crediting them as ‘Toy Story writers’ seems unfair. Joss Whedon & Andrew Stanton seem like the main talents on that screenplay.
