Find out how you can get in early on one of the most unusual indie multiplayer titles out there – Chris Hecker’s SpyParty.
A $15 layout – likely to be the game’s final pricing – nets players beta access, all updates, access to the game’s private beta community features, and a full copy of the final game when it releases. The free copy will likely be a PC version via Steam, but Hecker is looking into console options, too.
For those willing to help fund development, a pay-what-you-want scheme will be implemented, with those who fork out $50 or more will have their names put into the end credits.
SpyParty is described as an “asymmetric multiplayer espionage game”, and has received rave write ups whenever it’s appeared at trade events. Gameplay involves agents attempting to blend in with NPC characters at a party while opponent snipers seek them out, requiring observation and psychology skills on both sides.
