2K has revealed two new DLC packs for Civilization V, bringing the ancient and honourable kingdom of Korea into play alongside a number of brand new, very old wonders. We’ve got trailers for both.
As well as giving you access to a brand new civ with the special ability, Scholars of the Jade Hall, the Korea pack also adds in a new scenario.
Set during famed Sengoku-ear general Hideyoshi Toyotomi’s invasion of the mainland, the new scenario asks players to fend off Japan’s samurai armies.

The Wonders of the Ancient World pack adds in three new early wonders – Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, the Statue of Zeus, and the Temple of Artemis – to keep you busy during the early stages of the game. The new wonders favour gold production, military defence, and rapid building.
Again, a new scenario is included, with players grouped around the Fertile Crescent racing to complete (or sieze) nine anicent wonders.
Both packs will release on Steam on August 11, and go for $4.99 each or $7.49 in a bundle.
2K Games parent company Take Two said during its earnings call today that it had seen major success in the digital sector.
