Bloodrayne: Betrayal delayed into October on XBL

Saturday, 6th August 2011 20:42 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Bloodrayne: Betrayal has been delayed into October, according to the game’s developer. Scheduled for release this month with a delay of a week’s time already, the game will now land on October 5 on XBL. No reason for the delay was provided to D’toid, and since the delay is on XBL only, this will not affect the game’s PLAY incentive announced just yesterday. Earlier reports stated the game was also delayed on PSN, but we sent a mail and asked, and were told it was not the case. [pic]

Seems lke Destructoid got their facts a bit wrong. Joystiq reports that only the XBLA version is delayed.

It does seem like a paid exclusive considering Majesco refused to comment. Considering he said October 6th and it’s due for September 6th Sterling seems to have goofed. PSN does not release games on a Thursday and October 6th is a Thursday whereas September 6th is a Tuesday which is when the store updates for the US.
Based on simple Logic it seems like the destructoid article is wrong and it seems like the same shit that MS pulls on the XBLA.

Seems like this would be a Major hit to the PSN since it is part of their new Summer PSN PLAY program. This game is part of the Summer Play Program with a Sept.6th release date…seeing as this would completely screw up their Play program, and goes against what is posted on the PSN Blog, I would assume that this only goes for XBLA.

Some Hot Shot Reporter should fire off an Email to Sony to confirm that this title is still part of their Summer PSN Play Program???
