Nintendo confirms holiday release for Super Mario 3DS and Mario Kart 7

Nintendo has revealed some details regarding some of its upcoming Mario game releases for the 3DS in the US and Japan.

Super Mario 3DS has been finally given an official name – Super Mario 3D Land – and it’ll be releasing in November.

Apart from that, Mario Kart 7 has also been confirmed to be releasing in December. It’s unclear whether this will be the final name for the title.

Nintendo wasn’t willing to reveal the exact release date for Kid Icarus: Uprising but confirmed that it was still heading for a holiday 2011 ship.

It was confirmed earlier today that Nintendo is planning a massive global price-cut for the 3DS.

Thanks, Destructoid.

Super Mario 3D Land?

Agreed, that sounds terrible.

The comment I saw on Eurogamer was my favourite:

Ha ha!

Even Super Mario Land 3D would be better. Boring, but better.
