Sony has released a video from Comic-Con, which contains highlights from the Resistance 3 panel featuring creative director Marcus Smith, art director Grant Hollis, animation director Kevin Grow, as well as voice actors Robin Atkin Downes and Crispin Freeman.
The panel showed the first footage of the St. Louis level, discussed the story elements behind Charlie Tent and his rebel group the Remnants, and showed behind-the-scenes footage of the game’s mo-cap.
Sony and Insomniac also announced last night a new online strategy game, Global Resistance, that will be implemented on the My Resistance site.
Global Resistance is a free-to-play online strategy game “set against mankind’s final stand in the Resistance Universe.” Folks can plays as a Chimera or Human commander and “take over the world to unlock exclusive Resistance 3 multiplayer skins, in-game titles and XP boosters.” There’s a video below for that as well.
The game is live now and to take part, all you have to do is go to the above link and sign in with your Facebook ID or PSN Username.
Resistance 3’s multiplayer beta starts in August, and the full game is out September 6 in the US and September 9 in the UK.
