Quick Shots: Silent Hill: Downpour screens are dreary

Konami has released some new screenshots from Vatra’s Silent Hill: Downpour, and each is unsurprisingly dreary. Not like any of the Silent Hill games are full of unicorn and rainbows or anything, just an observation is all. The game is slated for a winter release on PS3 and Xbox 360, and it is also expected for PS Vita whenever it hits stores.

I am really hoping for this game to be NEARLY as good as SH1 or 2. But, I am severely doubting it and any other SH game will be :(

BTW, obvious creeper is obvious in Screen cap 1.

Troll harder next time. They both are in a small town that is in a forrest thats where the difference ends and Silent Hill has a stronger following than Alan wake with his shadow monsters and his flash light. SIlent Hill was also a game that started putting horror on the map where ALan wake is not a horror game its a thriller with action elements.

And the tiny fact that Silent Hill games started in 1999 while Alan Wake started 2010

I’m liking what I see here.

@3/4 Sure, I know that. I was talking about the visuals, not the gameplay.

This isn’t the final product, usually they use low visuals when they are testing game play or character movements.

as much as the game looks good, its just the gameplay that looks shockingly bad
