Tribes: Ascend to publicly debut and be playable at QuakeCon
Hi-Rez Studios has announced it’s to publicly debut Tribes: Ascend during QuakeCon 2011, and attendees to the event will also be able to get hands-on time with the free-to-play shooter. Still in Closed Alpha, those who stop by the game booth can register to win a limited number of keys to the closed beta. The full game is expected to be released later this year.
“QuakeCon has been called the Woodstock of gaming and we’re thrilled to introduce Tribes: Ascend at this show”, says Todd Harris, Hi-Rez Studios COO. “QuakeCon has always delivered exceptional, competitive multiplayer gaming… for free; and that’s our mission with Tribes: Ascend.”
QuakeCon takes place August 4-7 in Dallas, Texas.

Hmmm, well it wasn’t listed here, and recently i saw a video of it and it didn’t had the consoles listed anywhere, so i kinda got the impression it turned pc only.
