Microsoft: Xbox Live cloud storage not yet available

By Brenna Hillier, Thursday, 7 July 2011 02:11 GMT

Microsoft has closed down reports from earlier in the week that it silently enabled cloud saves for certain titles.

“Just confirmed that the [cloud storage] service has not gone live yet. We’ll keep you posted on launch details,” a Microsoft representative told Joystiq.

Eurogamer readers claimed to have had access to cloud storage earlier this week; the site has since removed its report.

Microsoft announced cloud save storage as an upcoming Xbox Live feature in early June.

Thanks, EDGE.
