Duke Nukem Forever coming to Mac OS X this Summer

Monday, 27th June 2011 17:54 GMT By Andrew Groen

Aspyr Media has announced that its port of controversial shooter Duke Nukem Forever will be arriving on Macs sometime this Summer.

Aspyr hasn’t specifically said whether or not the Mac code will be based on the PC version, but it’s fairly safe to assume that will be the case.

“We are thrilled to play a part in bringing this gaming experience to the Mac,” says Michael Rogers, Aspyr president.

“Duke Nukem Forever represents many of the best aspects of gaming: shooting aliens, saving ladies in distress, and great tag-lines. We think Mac gamers will love taking a bite of Duke’s special pain cake.”

The Mac version will be launched on Steam.

That description, the ‘…pain cake’ one, is *Parks and Rec Chris Traeger voice* LITERATELY the worst thing I’ve ever heard.

Excellent, now Mac users can share the disappointment.
