Batman: Arkham City’s Robin is cooler than anticipated
“Robin?” you scoff. “That red-and-green clad child! Such a meagre bonus does not sway my choice of retailer for Batman: Arkham City.”
Son, the DC universe is a lot cooler outside of that Adam West live action series. Come in and have a look at the Boy Wonder.
Looking a bit more Chris O’Donnell than Burt Ward – although thankfully bearing no other resemblance to the 1997 crime against film – Robin appears in-game as a playable challenge map character for those who pre-order from Best Buy.
He sports his own array of gadgetry and weapons, and you’ll also score the Black Mask Hideout and Freight Train Escape challenge maps and a Red Robin skin.
Arkham City is due on PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 in October, with a Wii U version to follow.
Thanks, Siliconera.

Looks like it’s only for US customers. I hope a pre-order deal appears for UK consumers.

The character looks more Damien Wayne rather than Tim Drake. In fact he even has a hoodie. Oddly enough they do have an alternative Red Robin costume which is what Tim Drake is currently (who’s only shaved his head once if i recall correctly during a Young Justice arc).
UE3 raises it’s non-hairy head again I suppose.

And this is exactly why I don’t pre-order games. These pre-order bonuses are an insult to the gamer.

Wonder if they’ll have another CE? And i wonder if it’ll be a total rip-off like the first one?
