Gaikai teams up with Eurogamer

Eurogamer has announced a partnership with streaming games service Gaikai.

The service will deliver in-browser demos of games directly to Eurogamer pages, allowing players to test games while viewing related content.

The demos will be free to all readers, with players able to purchase complete versions.

Ex Shiny-developer and Gaikai head Dave Perry said he is "extremely excited" to move on from six months of beta testing in Europe.

"We already have seven live data centres in Europe, making Gaikai the fastest cloud gaming network on that continent," Perry boasted.

Eurogamer managing director Rupert Loman described Gaikai's demos as "such a cool feature".

The service will be available on Eurogamers' local sites for Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, The Netherlands, Denmark, Czech Republic and Sweden, as well as its flagship.
