inFamous 2 to launch on PS Store this Friday

Wednesday, 8th June 2011 15:48 GMT By Johnny Cullen

Sony’s confirmed that it’s to launch a digital version of inFamous 2 in the UK, Ireland and Germany this Friday, with mainland Europe getting it today. The Sucker Punch open-world superhero game, to our memory, is only the second massive Blu-ray title to get a PSN release day-and-date together. Mass Effect 2 was the first third-party game to do it back in January when the PS3 version of the BioWare RPG launched.

should be cheaper, like £35 instead of that, what a rip

£50 is pretty indefensible. I have a physical copy en route that cost me £32.30.

Still, at least they’re getting the thin end of the wedge in now. Hopefully by the time Vita is released they’ll have built up the confidence to at least match realistic retail prices.

They have to charge £50 or retail goes mental about it.

Yep Retail has rules and even laws to block one form of retailer having direct competition on the other retailers. Publishers can’t yet bite the hand that feeds .

Damn thats quite a bit don’t think my HD can handle that and I am not ready to buy a new one.

Just highlights how lucky you Brits are compared to the rest of Europe when it comes to game prices. ;)
