Natsume promises “unannounced” PS3/Wii title for E3

Natsume is currently getting ready for next month’s E3, and while we’re already familiar with most of the games on show, a “highly-anticipated unannounced title” will also be found in the booth.

Rune Factory: Oceans

Nestled up alongside Harvest Moon: Tale of Two Towns (for both DS and 3DS), Gabrielle’s Ghostly Groove and Reel Fishing Paradise is this new title.

Siliconera reports that it will be “for PS3 and Wii”. As it’s somewhat tricky to anticipate an unannounced title, the website suggests it could be a localisation, rather than an all-new title.

Combining that with the unusual PS3 / Wii platform combination, all signs look like they may be pointing to a western release of Rune Factory: Oceans, released in Japan in February of this year.

Whether or not this is correct, and whether Natsume is indeed working with Marvelous again on the project remains to be seen – it’s a little over three weeks before E3 kicks off in Los Angeles.

I think you’re right. I can’t think of many games that have a PS3 and Wii version from Natsume.
