Deus Ex: Human Revolution's first ten minutes gets previewed

A couple of outlets have previewed the first ten minutes of Deus Ex: Human Revolution ahead of a general embargo for more impressions later this week.

A round-up of them previews as well as snippets are all below.

"Limbs with dangling circuits hang next to fluorescent lights. A pair of mechanical legs with no body attached run on a treadmill and compared against a non-augmented human. Through a window, you can see a demonstration of the Typhoon attack system where a robot throws explosive discs that knock down nearby dummies."

"Human Revolution has built an interesting world with some tragic figures, and they all felt like they could have been real people."

"Now that I have control over Jensen, I can take in Human Revolution's gorgeous graphics. I'm not talking in terms of sheer polygons, although it has plenty of those. If anything, Human Revolution looks so good because of the liveliness in the environment, the NPCs interacting with each other, their surroundings, and you."

"Deus Ex: Human Revolution is not just going to be your first person shooter were [SIC] you will run and gun to get past levels, DEHR will take you into Adam Jensen’s world and will be a treat for those returning fans and new fans alike of this action packed RPG."

Deus Ex: Human Revolution releases later this year for PS3, 360 and PC. Read our recent chat with director Jean-Francois Dugas here.
