Transformers: Dark of the Moon announced, trailered

Activision has announced a tie-in title to the upcoming Transformers: Dark of the Moon film.

The events of the game act as a prologue to Michael Bay's final Transformers film.

Acti is touting a new "Stealth Force conversion mode" which adds a third form to the Transformers' repertoire. We can hear the nerd-rage from here.

The game is in development at High Moon Studios, the internal Activision team responsible for Transformers: War for Cybertron.

Activision previously referenced the new title during its Q3 financials.

The game's due to release for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, with Wii, DS and even 3DS versions in the works at Naughty Bear developer Behaviour Interactive.

No release date has been set, but in the meantime, there's always the legacy official website and Facebook page to gaze at.
