Test Drive Unlimited 2 dev diary talks “love” ahead of Feb release

Namco’s released a dev diary showing members of Test Drive Unlimited 2 dev Eden Games talking about “loving” cars. Luckily, there’s some in-game footage too.
There are some real cars and real men inter-cut with in-game racing here, showing off some of the title’s 90 cars, cities, day and night.
The developers talk about creating a new engine from scratch and reworking handling.
The open world race sequel’s out on February 8 in the US and February 11 in the UK for PC, 360 and PS3.
It was originally planned for a 2010 release, but was bumped into 2011 last August.

Thanx m8.
After glancing the list I guess there won’t skyline models, Nissan GT-R is close enough though.

No lambo’s, no porsche’s–it’ll be tough to do without the LP640 and the 911 gt3 rs. I’ll stick with NFS:HP and await shift 2, unless the reviews are stellar.

For me they are getting backwards with the cars. Lack of certain brands from the first game like Lambo’s absolute lack of motors and 4 Bugaty’s WTF?! Also the SUV department is quite uninspiering. Still I am waiting for the game but I hope they will add a lot of cars without the need of paying for them, even though the chance for this happening is close to zero.
