Bleszinski teases VGA Gears gameplay showing
It’s “not what you’re expecting,” apparently.
Media anti-darling and Epic design director Cliff Bleszinski has confirmed there’s going to be new Gears of War gameplay shown at the VGAs on December 11, speaking in this video.
There’s nothing to see here, really. He says it’s “not what you’re expecting,” which is probably supposed to refer to the Kinect gameplay rumour he’s openly denied, and that’s about it.
The tension. Could cut it with a chainsaw, etc.

Oh god… Game is already done and they don’t know what to do with Gears Of War 3 except of adding some stupid Kinect features.
What Microsoft have for Xbox 360 for the Q1 or Q2 of 2011? Nothing. Whats the problem releasing this game in 2011? It will sell like hot cakes.

He’s already said Gears 3 won’t have Kinect. But he hasn’t denied a Kinect-specific Gears spin-off, though.

@10 and i agree with Pat on that one.
that asshole said too much in the past. I still remember some magazine where he said that PC gamers are so clever that they can buy an Ultra videocard and pirate the game anyday and that Playstation controller is pathetic and he don’t want to bring Gears to the PS3.

@12 It’s not. A matter of taste. If you have big arms and fingers maybe it’s shit, but for me it’s absolutely perfect except triggers, while Xbox controller is also good except of D-Pad.

I liked Gears on the PC, but I hated the fact that Epic didn’t made a Gears 2 for PC. And I ain’t gonna buy an Xbox just so that CliffyB can stuff a little more $$$ in his pocket… And now they probably going Kinect of War? He’s an epic douchebag…
