Report – GT5 already “in stock” at US retailer

Release the sodding thing!
According to Examiner, one US retailer has Gran Turismo 5 in stock. Right now.
Fingernut has “in stock” the racer, with shipping dates varying from two to ten days.
Right now, only the collectors edition is only available of the Polyphony racer from the retailer and not the standard edition.
On Monday, VG247 was told GT5 is expected to release between November 30-December 8. A video then emerged of someone at home playing the full game.
Yesterday, an off-screen video of the intro to the game emerged.
Thanks, TSA.

I think someone tried ordering from there and was told it’ll only ship out after the 23rd. So while they have stock, they’re not shipping. Quite a few places do have stock.
However, http://www.indianvideogamer.com/2010/11/november-24-release-date-for-gt5/
is quite probably on the money. Milestone interactive are Sony’s official distributors in India and they’ve put the date for the 24th. Releases there and in the UK are the same day. So it’s starting to sound like the 24th but we’ll get the official announcement within a week or so.
p.s. their site is being hammered right now, so be patient

In Japan the steering wheel with the GT logo now comes out on the 25th. Yeah it’s pretty much almost confirmed.
. It is getting people hyped (if there could be anymore hype) albeit annoyingly for some.
Launch party in Madrid set for that week. More retailers putting up dates close to it, etc.
As for all the videos and stuff, you can’t deny the possibility of a viral. Considering the guys are on PSN, online, have tried playing it online and there’s been no action, no messages nothing and they haven’t taken down the crappy quality videos either. Not to mention most of them drive pretty bad

I’ve just been shopping at Sainsburys and they gave me a £3 voucher for GT5 that expires 30/12/10 so they reckon it’ll be this year at least! But maybe just one more delay for old times sake?

Hey I just time travelled with Kevin Butler and came back from 2018. GT5 is still not released. 12 hours before GT5 went on sale on November 20th, Kazunori Yamauchi decided that he wanted to put in 500 extra cars, 189 karts, 15 rollercoaster rides, 250 player split-screen gamemode, 600 player online racer battles, 2 cotton candy machines and a 74 hour walkthrough of his house and Polyphony’s studios which you have to watch before playing the game. The Playstation Eye will keep an eye on you if you’re really paying attention to the walkthroughs. You may not pause, fall asleep or watch anything else on your screen otherwise you’ll have to start over. The game is slated to release at February 20th, 2020. It includes 7 Blu-Ray discs and requires 1 terabyte of free hard disk space on your PS3.

I will never understand a game like GT, but I don’t like any type of racing game really, and I’ve tried to like GT, but it just doesn’t release those endorphins like it does for others. Of course as a Child I never wanted Hot Wheels or race tracks. I think I am the only person on the planet who could care-less about GT. The fever pitch frothing over GT games though is on the scale of something like a new WOW game, it is quite fascinating to kick back and watch.

Well today when i went to the shops, i only had enough cash to pay off one game, it was either Assassins Creed: Brotherhod or Gran Turismo 5, i chose Assassins Creed simply because i know i will get it next Thursday on release, but i definately won’t have enough money for any game next fortnight because of Christmas shopping, don’t think i’ll ever get Gran Turismo game now, well not anytime soon at least.
