Sonic 4 releases today on EU PSN and XBLA – watch the launch trailer

Sega’s released the launch trailer for Sonic the Hedgehog, as it launches on the EU PlayStation Store and Xbox Live Arcade following launches this week on the App Store, WiiWare and US PS Store.
16 years after Sonic 3 launched, the sequel shows off some of the game’s iconic stages and some moments against Dr. Eggman, while hinting at what’s to come for Episode II: this is Episode I, remember.
Sonic 4 is out now on XBLA for 1200 MS points. It’ll go live on the EU PS Store later this afternoon for £9.99.

Really want to get this but £10 is just too much considering it’s the first of 4 episodes. I’m sure there will be a deal once all episodes r out and then I will purchase it.

Needed to be released five years agao as a PSN/XBLA launch title. Not sure I give a flying fuck about Sonic gameplay anymore.

So tempted to try this as the nostalgia is in full force but 10 quid is a bit much for just episode 1 of 4.

I might give it a whirl, it’s not a big download. Unlikely to buy it at 1200, though – a future Deal of the Week might tempt me more if it’s not bad.
