Part one of L4D2 online comic The Sacrifice hits next week

Saturday, 11th September 2010 18:14 GMT By Stephany Nunneley

Valve plans to release the first part of its online comic book, The Sacrifice, detailing Bill’s demise on September 14.

The prequel comic fills in the story between Left 4 Dead and Left 4 Dead 2 before the Sacrifice DLC sees a release.

Part one of the comic, drawn by Michael Avon Oeming, will start detailing how Bill sacrificed himself before the cast of L4D met up with the folks in L4D2 in The Passing.

The Sacrifice DLC itself will be released for both L4D titles during the first part of October.

Damn it. We really liked Bill.

Thanks, BigDownload.

@1 Did it always seem to you that Pat was the one who got to Bill the most? Maybe it was a cosmic beard thing. :)

I ALWAYS play Bill, he is my Fave. I am so tired of the cliche of “the Old Person gets it in the end.” I was hoping that Bill Made it and one of the young ones bit the dust…Now that is a story, that doesn’t follow the vanilla pattern that you ALWAYS see in Movies, TV Shows, and Books. Can’t have the representation of Youth dying, must be the Cranky old Geezer…Well sometimes, just sometimes, The Old Geezer out lives they Young Buck!! Now that is a story!
