Warhammer 40K: Dark Millennium trailer shows first playable race

wh40kmmo

THQ has released the first video of its Warhammer 40K MMO, Dark Millennium.

The first time we saw the game in motion, was through a teaser released during E3. This one, shown at gamescom, introduces us to the Imperium of Man – the first known playable race.

There’s no date yet, but THQ’s Danny Bilson is confident Vigil’s MMO will garner 1 million players.

Blood splatters? Wow! To be honest I expected them to bitch out of any blood in the game like Mythic did with Warhammer Online.

Suprisingly detailed. Glad it’s doing justice to the source material.

At first I thought it was some derivative of the Dawn of War RTS, possibly even Dawn of War III (yes this was semi-announced a few days ago already on Gamespot: http://gamescom.gamespot.com/story/6273902/warhammer-40k-dawn-of-war-iii-confirmed ).

Not usually phased by MMOs so hopefully this will be as interesting as it looks.
