Vigil looking to hire a senior programmer with FPS experience

A job listing from Vigil Games notes the firm is looking for a senior programmer with FPS experience. Among the many qualifications listed is the prerequisite that the applicant be "an avid FPS gamer with strong interest in pushing the genre forward creatively."

Here's the blurb:

"Vigil Games is looking for an experienced Sr. Gameplay Programmer to help design, implement, and refine the overall gameplay experience for our next title. The Senior Gameplay Programmer will work closely with other Art and Design leads to insure that all gameplay functionality is carried through to completion and provides an incredible player experience."

Qualified applicants will have prior experience working on an FPS title, and deep knowledge - "professionally or as a gamer" - of FPS mechanics and gameplay.

Back in March, THQ announced Warhammer 40,000: Dark Millennium Online would no longer be developed as an MMO, and development on the title would be “refocused” on “an immersive single-player and online multiplayer experience with robust digital content, and engaging community features.”

One and one make two, apparently. Don't quote us on that though.

Thanks, EvilAvatar.
