Yamauchi already thinking about Gran Turismo 6

Not content with spending around five years developing Gran Turismo 5, it seems Polyphony Digital boss Kanunori Yamauchi is already thinking about Gran Turismo 6.

During his GT5 presentation at gamescom yesterday, Yamauchi talked karts and how the vehicle almost never made it into GT5.

“We were saving this for GT6, but the information leaked out so we decided we would just put it in this one,” he said.

Yamauchi also took the opportunity to unveil the game’s B-Spec mode, which we reported a day early courtesy of Famitsu, and he also talked about the Course Maker for generating new tracks, and the 3D Photo Mode.

GT5 is out November 2 in the US and November 3 in the UK and Europe.

I’ll be waiting in my cryo-chamber. Defrost me when it’s done.

To make GT6 they need less than 3 years now. The engine is already ready.

I think they are already developing GT 6 like 2 years for now. The design document and engine are ready.
