Rumour – Microsoft sending out Kinect beta invites

Joystiq‘s reporting that Microsoft’s sent out invites to potential Kinect beta testers.
The site’s carrying what appears to be an invite via Microsoft Connect to try out the motion tech before its November release.
It also mentions that because of an “audio change,” players taking part in the scheme won’t be able to chat with Live users via party orĀ individualĀ chat, which has led Joystiq to suggest the new Kinect-enabled dashboard may also be beta trialed.
We’ll email MS.
Kinect launches on November 4 in the US. A European date hasn’t been announced, but will most likely be at Microsoft’s gamescom press conference in Germany next Tuesday.

Well, the only way MS are getting one of these in my house within 12 months is if they pony up a free one.
So pony up MS.

I got my email and have already submitted my app. It would be very cool to get in on this. I usually quite enjoy their beta tests.
