Ace Combat: Assault Horizon announced for PS3, 360
Namco Bandai’s announced tonight Ace Combat: Assault Horizon for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
Not much is mentioned by the company in regards to the game’s story, but it’s promised to be a “rebirth” of the series.
Multiplayer’s included.
It’s the series’s first outing on consoles since Fires of Liberation in 2007 for Xbox 360, with the last PlayStation title being The Belkan War in 2004 for PS2.
There’s a teaser trailer below, via GameSpot.
Game’s out next year.

Nice. AC5 was the only game in the series I’ve only really played, and I loved it.

Wow, looks like they finally managed to tone down the cheese factor and make a more believable war game.
Although this is just the teaser, there’s plenty room for absurd nicknames and cheesy melodrama.
Will the player still be only sentient human being in the entire army?? Or will the rest of them finally learn something other then screaming for help like a bunch of scared school girls.

I was growing old with no Ace Combat on my PS3, good thing at least I grow old with some descent air combat on my PS3…
