Yoshida: Sony "very aware" of demand for Team ICO Collection

SCE Worldwide studios boss Shuhei Yoshida has said Sony is "aware" of the demand for a Team ICO Collection on PS3.

"As soon as we released God of War in an HD collection, there were people that were giving us suggestions," Yoshida told Joystiq during an E3 interview.

"And ICO and Shadow of the Colossus is on the top of the list. And we are very aware and we want to see and play it in HD with a better framerate as well, so that's something we are very, very aware of."

VG247 was told back in May that a collection of the developer's two PS2 classics, ICO and Shadow of the Colossus, was coming to Blu-ray in remastered HD in the run-up to the release of The Last Guardian, following on from the success of the release of the God of War Collection in both Europe and the US.

A later report suggested it would be out in Q1 2011, although that's at odds with a June 2011 release listed by Amazon.fr earlier this week.

The collection was never confirmed at E3 last month, with a Sly Cooper Collection announced instead during Sony's press conference for a November release.
