According to a tweet from 3drealms’ George Broussard, four more Infinity Ward employees have left Activision today.

Here’s the tweet:

4 more people leave Infinity Ward today. Near 50% of dev staff. ETA till IW closure? Activision earnings report in a week.

This is not confirmed by any other source as of yet, so hold on to your hats just in case he may be a day behind in the news.

Doubtful though.

If true, this means the grand total is over 30.

No names were mentioned in the tweet.

Former and current employees with the company are suing Activision for unpaid bonuses, and analyst Mick Hickey believes that what is left of the company is about to be absorbed by Activision.

Activision’s financial call to investors is next week – expect Kotick and co. to address the situation further.

Oh please for the love of god stop reporting on this please. Every site I go to it someone left Infinity Ward everyday sometimes multiple times a day. Only report if some actually says they are staying since that is more news than this.

So they’ve pretty much lost a third of their staff, agreed with #1 though, starting to get bored with this whole people leaving everyday, fuck it why don’t like 20 leave tomorrow rather than 2/3 a day for the next week!

Lol and you will trust him? i mean, broussard is a failure since duke nukem has been 10years in production and the game isnt out yet. This guy has no credibility at all imo.

@3 What does that have to do with his credibility?

Activisions most important studio, save for Blizzard, is going up in flames. I don’t want to miss a second of it.

@ 4: I’m with you. It warms my cockles to see Activison’s ham-fistedness be brought to bear by the media.

I like the updates, it’s like getting up to the minute reports on the Titanic sinking.
