Cavia already working on DLC for NieR

NieR’s executive producer at Square, Yosuke Saito, has revealed that Cavia started work on DLC for it immediately after the core game was completed.
Speaking with Xbox Japan, Saito failed to provide any details, but did say that there was a connection between NieR and Cavia’s Drakengard.
If you have played Drakengard, you know that it contains multiple endings, one of which is the Tokyo Tower landmark known as the Shinjuku End.
NieR takes place during the future of the world featured in Shinjuku End.
Saito also revealed that the history pertaining to the weapons in NieR will be published in book form in the future, as each one has its own story to be told.
NieR is slated for release in the UK April 23 and April 27 in the US on 360 and PS3.
Check out the launch trailer through here.
Thanks: Andriasang, Joystiq.

34/40 from Famitsu usually means 5s and 6s from the Western press.

Famitsu are as credible as OPM.
I’m hoping for a decent storyline actually. Drakengard deserved a 9 for it’s plot and 6 for the gameplay.
