Konami has announced SAW 2 for release on 360 and PS3.

SAW 2 takes you back to that sicko Jigsaw’s world, and according to the PR is full of traps and puzzles, combat, and an all-new storyline that takes place between the second and third movie.

It is currently being developed by Zombie Studios (Blacklight: Tango Down), and in it players walk in the shoes of Detective Tapp’s estranged son Michael, who is trying to understand his father’s death.

In order to make it through Jigsaw’s games, players must use their intelligence and desire to live in order to survive.

It’s expected to be released sometime during the fall.

We know you are excited.

The Saw series is crapping out and the Videogame didn’t even make a profit so why do it again?

Actually if they are making a sequel, then they are profitable with this. Somehow, but profitable.

The Heavy Rain developers should do it. That would be interesting.

Not even in the top 20 and it shows how much. Konami must be just giving them 10 mil? and tell them make a game with that. Because the game definitely didn’t get the 30 million that triple AAA games get.

Well, they have the engine and basic ideas down from the first one, the second will basically just be a reskin with a new plot, kinda like the films.

Except the original. The others just started copying what the 2nd attempted to do. The puzzles were nothing like the original.
