EA releases original C&C games for free

C&C4

Command & Conquer 4′s out next month, and to get you pumped, EA has released the original C&C games for free.

These include Tiberian Dawn, Tiberian Sun (with the Firestorm expansion), and Red Alert.

Red Alert and Tiberian Dawn have been free for a bit now, but new to the freebie end is Tiberian Sun.

BigDownload notes that Tiberian Dawn requires a separate disc virtualization program to load the ISO files, so that may or may not be an issue with you.

C&C 4 is out March 16.

Here’s a trailer.

Tiberian Sun was, in my view the best game of this series and worth checking, even more when its free!

I thought Tiberian Sun was the worst :P The cutscenes weren’t first person, you were playing as a character and it was so relentlessly slow that it just took far too long to do anything.
