First Monster Hunter: Frontier trailer gets out

Capcom Japan’s released the first trailer of Monster Hunter: Frontier for Xbox 360.
Get it below, courtesy of GameSpot.
The game was announced for 360 this morning, having released two years ago on PC and PS2.
It’ll be out in summer for Japan, with a Beta in May.
Capcom confirmed to VG247 earlier, that it wouldn’t comment on when, or even if, the MMO hits the west.

I haven’t been on all day but from what I’ve been reading I gather this is just a port of a 2007 game?
I understand MS’s need to break the Japanese market (well kind, given how deflated it is) but this is a bit of a reach!

Just wondering; what did 360 sales in Japan look like when FFXI was ported over?

Well, the trailer does have windows pasted on the top right corner. so Geki is probably on the right track.

Not wanting to sound negative, but if funding new IP such as LO and getting timed exclusive on titles like ToV didn’t do that much, when all is said and done, for 360… I’m not sure about this.
Still, some news and exclusives (sort of) is better than nothing I guess.
Particularly after FFXIII in Japan for PS3 though this looks a little weak.
