Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands – first proper screens

Ubisoft released first proper shots of Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands.
Find them over at IGN.

Hmm. Call me an old cynic, but they still look rather like mock-ups. And not very good ones at that.

Assuming these “proper shots” are the 3 uploaded on January 7th (the previous ones are obviously concept art), I too remain skeptical over their validity.
Still interested in the game, though…

I hope they do turn out to be target renders. Because they’re rubbish.

Anyone actually planning on buying this? Ive been burned soo much with the POP franchise, they just dont seem able to do a worthy follow up to the sands of time.

I dunno, I thought that they were one on, one off. Loved SoT, disappointed by WW, loved 2T, not so keen on new PoP.

Looks very flat and blurry, screams Photoshop.

Doesn’t seem that bad to me. I’ll probably get this though anyway, I’ve always loved POP (yes even the new one wasn’t that bad IMO)

so will this be a return to teh earlier PoP, or more Fable-style-tracer-light and no-dying?

Wake up, all the “screenshots” Ubisoft ever release are bullshots, so heavily photoshopped they have nothing to do with the actual game. They do that every time. Check the “screenshots” they released for Red Steel on the Wii if you’re up for a laugh.
Just show how easy it is to dupe the so-called “hardcore gamers”.
