US PSN update, December 3
The US PS Blog’s put up the American PSN update for the week, this one featuring the nineteenth Qore episode.
Call of Duty Classic’s on there, as is the Bayonetta demo. There’s a bunch of new LBP costumes, too.
Here’s this week’s Euro update, in case you missed it.

Resident Evil 3! Does anyone know if it’ll work on a PAL PSP off the US Store?

I seem to think that the downloadable PSOne games are region-locked. I might be wrong, though.

I’ve heard some people say they are any others say they arent though they’ve never actually been able to say if they’ve got a game themselves or are just repeating what they’ve heard.

Yeah, i’ve decided to go ahead and try with RE2, its downloading now. If it works i might go for RE3… Problem is my launch PSP dosnt have enought space on its weak memory Card.

Btw whats the max memory a PSP can handle excluding the PSPGo? 4 GBs?

No idea, looking at the memory i have it looks like the PSP launched with round 1GB. I’m guessing you could put in better cards though.
So RE2 works on the PS3, thats a start, just copying it to the PSP now.
EDIT: It works on PSP! So let it be known; PSOne Classics are region free.

Looking around Phoenix it looks like you can buy memory cards going up to 8GB. Think i’ll get another one.

Was curious because I plan on getting the 3000 model possibly in the SPring since there are great games coming out soon enough like Birth by Sleep and also would like to play Crisis core and the remakes of some of Square games and the FFXIII for it too.

Yeah that’s right Geki, i’ve got an 8gb card in my PSP Slim. It’s a good size. From memory this is the one i got and for £25 it’s considerably cheaper than when i bought it a while back.

PSOne games aren’t region locked, but they are account locked on PSPs.
I DLed some demos for the PSP on my American account and atfer I uploaded to my PSP I couldn’t play my PSOne games on my GB account because my PSP was synced the the US one.
Annoying.

Eregol, in the other thread, I wasn’t taking a shot at you dude, but the other guy I usually take shots at! Just wanted to clear that up

You can just plug it into the PS3 and resync it though.
