Japanese software sales, WE Nov.1 – Bayonetta moves over 199K copies

Media-Create’s released the latest software charts in Japan for October 26 – November 1.
Looks like our soon-to-be-favorite witch is tops on the list, with Bayonetta selling 135,242 copies for PS3, and coming in at number seven for 360 with 64,325 copies sold. That’s a grand total of 199,567. Wow.
Four Warriors of Light: Final Fantasy and Tekken 6 came in a respectable second and third with 114,714 and 103,105 units moved, respectively.

So there we have it. Platinum Games was right to hand the ps3 a sub par port done by Sega. People who only have a ps3 will still buy it.

Im still buying it for the Ps3 as games like Bayonetta are suited to the dualshock controller for me. Just cant get used to the 360 controls for these type of games.

Nearly 200,000 copies of a game being sold in one week in Japan is extremely good sales for the region!
Bloody great to see this game getting off to a such a stellar start. I can’t wait until it comes out here.

i have both ps3 and 360 but i only go for exclusives that worth to spend $$$ on for the 360.I don’t care about Achievements but i do care about my collection of Trophies since i have a lot, plus i prefer the Ps3 controler so i’ll go for the bad port(which isn’t so bad that some people make it out to be,we have seen much worse in the past,it’s still pretty enjoyable)
