Final Fantasy XIII dated for December 17 in Japan
Square Enix has just tagged December 17 as the Japanese release date of Final Fantasy XIII.
We just came.
The date was meant to be announced tomorrow at a premiere event in Tokyo, but an accidental leak on the online side of the announcement has meant Christmas has come early for us.
Square also started an ad promotion today on YouTube Japan, building up to the announcement.

Was that an example of the overly subtle British use of understatement I hear so much about?

Razor – I’ve been too excited for this game to not wait.

I’ll certainly be interested to see how this turns out, Famitsu’s obligatory 40/40 aside.
