BioWare: Mass Effect DLC news “will have to wait”

Downer. We’d gotten our huge tub of lube ready for the Mass Effect DLC news that looked to be coming our way this week, only to have to put it back on the shelf for a little while longer as BioWare has twittered that, tragically, no DLC news is imminent.
“Due to circumstances beyond my control (me being stupid on timing), any news of more ME1 DLC will have to wait. Sorry folks,” the tweet said.
Now we’ll just have to get lathered up at some other juncture. We’ll let you know.

This is the modern condition in a nutshell: First an announcement of an announcement of Mass Effect DLC, over Twitter no less, and then this announcement of an announcement is announced to be canceled. And always “Due to circumstances beyond my control”. Yeah…

The next DLC will most likely tie into the story of Mass Effect 2 just like the book. I am not one to gimp myself on a story especially Mass Effect’s.
