Civilization sales hit 9 million worldwide

The Civilization franchise has sold over 9 million copies worldwide, Take-Two said today.
The news came out of the publisher’s Q2 earnings call.

RTS is the acronym for Real Time Strategy. The Civilization games are all turn based, and thus called Turn Based Strategy (TBS).
Hate being a prick about it, but there is a quite clear distinction between them, and the TBS genre have existed way longer than the RTS one.

Agreed, also Eury is right, especially since I love TBS but don’t enjoy RTS at all.
