Madden 10 shines in new screens

madden102

Some new shots of Madden 10 after the break. There’s no more footballier game in the world. Check out the shine on those red helmets.

It’s out in August for all platforms. Apart from PC.

Ho-hum.. more of the same.. slightly improved graphics, stats that don’t matter, Pull your QB back and throw it after you have enough space. There is NO TIME to switch to a lineman to run over and help the HB. Still can’t control where the pass goes to lead or undershoot or even left/right of the recieve…. My dreamcast 2k game had this!

If they REALLY want to make the game better, they will find a better method for selecting the player you want to go to. I can’t tell you how many times I get scored on because when I try to switch to a player it goes to someone else and I have to keep cycling through to finallyl get the guy I wanted.. but it’s too late by that time. fixing this would be INNOVATION.

Yea madden with it’s rehashed game play done every year over and over agin. I hear EA almost lost their contract for madden.

Oh by the way It’s console game devs and consoles that is losing money. I mean lost what was it billions on consoles. Micro soft losing billions on consoles. In fact pc gaming it making money and is on fire in a ression. Un like consoles that is in a decline.

You Know fifa made a come back because pc gamers helped EA right!!! Fifa online made more than all the consoles combine.

Oh there is also another fact that EA made what 600 million on DD. No micro soft or sony take their profits. No trucks, planes, ships or delivery costs to worry about. The Publishers and game devs have skip the middle man all together. No ware house, retail or self space to worry about.

great in a time of ression where retail have to reduce their self spaces because games are not selling.

Not to be too much of an ass, but in NCAA Football I can control the passing perfectly. I can lead recievers and hit them in stride. Personaly I won’t buy Madden, its boring. I play NCAA, it has online leagues, and wideopen gameplay. The Blitzes work, the option is killer, and the run and gun gameplay has been leaving Madden in the dirt for years. Nothing better then watching a player try and figure out if your QB is keeping it or pitching it. I love it when they try and take out the pitchman, and the QB busts it big. Next play samething, but the RB gets it, next play option down the line, two step drop, deep pass over the middle TD! Madden is boring.
That being said both games could use some upgrades. I want to make my own plays, have more control over off field simulation stuff(TV contracts/vender prices etc). But it is what it is. Its mass market football and its pretty much the only game in town.
