Radical seeking designer and programmer for Wii port

Radical Entertainment has posted job listings for a designer and programmer familiar with Wii.
The designer must have an “affinity for 3rd Person ‘Open-World’ Camera Design/Functionality”, and the programmer needs to be able to “take game features from concept to execution for a port of a 360/PS3 game to the Wii.”
Talk has it as a possible Wii port of Prototype, but more than likely it’s the Spider-man game rumored to be in development.

It’s highly unlikely to be a Wii port of Prototype. I think seeing how mature rated games have performed on the Wii console would deter any developer from making an expensive port of an M rated game.

not a port, but a first person on rails brawler? Bet on it!

I hope this isn’t another mature game coming to the Wii. Haven’t devs learned their lesson?

why are gamers so keen to make absolute statements such as the above?
yes of course, lets hope that games designers make only particular games for particular systems – thats best for the industry and the consumer all round isn’t it?

@ at above
fuck yeah it is! lol Seriously, making mature games that are exclusive to the Wii is a bad move, business-wise of course and fan-wise is also bad. I mean, just imagine how many gamers would have played Madworld if it was released on all consoles, and RE Zero and REmake. …think about that.
