800 Microsoft point cards now helping keep retail relevant

Don’t want Microsoft’s scheming corporate perverts to get an eyeful of your wallet’s private bits, but can’t afford to fork over $19.99 for a 1600 MS point card in these harsh economic times? Well then, your life is officially complete now that Microsoft has finished working the kinks out of its 800 MS point card.

The Microsoft-powered piece of plastic is currently priced at $9.99 – aka, 800 MS points. It’s also immaculately beautiful, and we have an overwhelming urge to buy a bunch and build a tiny castle out of them.

Thanks, Xbox 360 Fanboy.

I need some points. Nowhere seems to be doing them cheap at the minute, though.

I saw a fairly good offer the other day… will see if I can find it.

Edit – Offer had expired. Best at the moment are Comet and Zavvi instore… about £15 for 2100.

Gone are the good old days of Tesco’s £13.50 points. Luckily I still have 4800 on my account. :D

Comet, eh? I might nip down there for a look later on.
