Ubisoft issued a new fact sheet for the PC version of Assassin’s Creed this morning, showing altered recommended specs for the action game.
Disc space has been dropped to 8Gb from a previous 12Gb, and there’s now no mention of the recommended 3Gb of RAM listed in for Vista in the previous spec. The only other change we can see is that DirectX 9.0 libraries are now going to be included on the disc. Video and CPU requirements are unchanged. The game releases in April. The midrange GPU in the recommended specs above is an 18 month-old card. Minimum CPUs are from the same period.

Well, that’s a bit of a lie - I know for a fact it wouldn’t be able to run the installer. But you catch my drift.
