Talking Darkest Dungeon and Darkest Dungeon 2 With Red Hook Studios

AXE OF THE BLOOD GOD | A special midweek interview with the creators of one of our favorite RPGs!

This article first appeared on USgamer, a partner publication of VG247. Some content, such as this article, has been migrated to VG247 for posterity after USgamer's closure - but it has not been edited or further vetted by the VG247 team.

I really enjoyed Darkest Dungeon when it came out a couple years ago, so when Darkest Dungeon 2 was announced recently, I knew had to get the folks from Red Hook Studios back on the pod [download link here].

Tyler Sigman and Chris Bourassa join me to talk about how Darkest Dungeon has improved since launch, the creation of its characters, and its somewhat troubled ports. Along the way, they sprinkle in some new insight about Darkest Dungeon 2, including how it will tackle the story this time around (it sounds like narrative will take center stage in a much more meaningful way this time around). Check it out!
