Quick Shots - Templar week kicks off at The Secret World

Following on from the Dagon spotlight, The Secret World developer Funcom is promising a week of Templar goodness. This is especially exciting for us as the Templars are the official-unofficial VG247 faction of choice.

The Templars are described as the "most uncompromising and traditional" of the three factions, as well as "fiercely brutal". Their motivation is the eradication of evil, as opposed to the power-hungry Illuminati and balance-seeking Dragon.

The Templars' base is in London, the game's social hub, which is an obvious draw - and three out of four VG247 staff agree "red is the best colour" and "look at the sweet uniforms". Just ignore Johnny.

Funcom has teased new information, a trailer, a Q&A session, artwork and screenshots to be revealed over the course of the week. The Secret World is expected in 2012.
